I’m Michelle Petteys

I have always loved taking pictures. When my children were younger, my husband bought me a “real” camera one Christmas to take pictures of our family and the kids’ events. That started the bug.

I teach Spanish at Heritage High School in Ringgold, Georgia. When my son was on the football team, I was lucky enough to be allowed on the field to take pictures during games. That eventually grew into me becoming the official photographer for the school and almost all the sports, events, and clubs (believe me, I try hard to get them all!). Heritage Snaphsots was born!

Several years ago, I was asked if I could take some pictures of a group of students for their senior year and what I would charge. Having bought portraits of my own children, I knew how expensive it can be and wanted to offer something for those who might not want or be able to afford a more “professional” package. As I do still consider myself an amateur, I have continued this approach into other areas. My mission is to provide a quality product at a reasonable rate and to let you have all the pictures to use as you see fit.
